Our Heritage

The funeral home is owned and operated by Gary and Martha Wallin. Gary is a licensed Washington State Funeral Director and Embalmer and has been serving Whidbey Island for more than 50 years. He was employed at another funeral home in Oak Harbor before choosing to open this family run business. Other staff members include Gar's wife, Martha, Elaine Terry, Forethought Pre-need Insurance Agent; Jim Bailey; Paula Mains; and Bob Wallin.
We are a full service facility with an on-site crematory, a large chapel that seats up to 150, reception center, and full kitchen for public use. We are knowledgeable about Veteran's benefits and the conducting of military funerals. Merchandise offerings include, caskets, burial vaults, cremation containers, cremation urns, keepsakes, headstones and monuments. Gary is also a Certified Life Celebrant, providing Celebration of Life services for those families requesting this type of service.
In 2012 we had the distinct honor of being selected as "Best of Whidbey" Funeral Home and also, in April 2012 Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month.
